I stopped here on my way to Death Valley. This was a cozy motel with a cute vibe. The people running it were really helpful and I enjoyed staying here. I appreciated that you could get a key from the office to go to this gym down the block. It was an unexpected surprise and the gym had the equipment needed to do my usual weightlifting workout. I did have issues with the AC not really working. It could also have been user error. So I opened my door for some cool air and an orange tabby cat came strutting in like I owed it money. The visit from the local alley cat was worth the AC not working. The cat did a lap around the room and left. I assume that cat works there.

Not even a block off the main drag in Mariposa. Cute, quaint, quiet lodge. Traveling solo to Yosemite, and the hotel worked perfectly for my needs. Clean with a great outdoor seating area by the cafe to relax. Will book again!

Stayed here while going for a weekend trip to Yosemite. Loved it and would definitely stay again. Located in the downtown area of Mariposa in walking distance to restaurants, shops, and bars. Bed was very comfortable and the place was clean.

I didn't know when I booked this hotel that it's the oldest one in Mariposa. This is not like a five-star resort in Mexico or Jamaica or anything like that, but for what it is, it's great. It's maybe 45 minutes to an hour outside of Yosemite, so the rates are much more reasonable than staying within the park. Plus, Mariposa is a full town, which offers more than a lodge within the park. The check in process was easy - I arrived and checked the board out front, and found my name beside Room 6. They key was in the doorknob of the room. I do enjoy talking to people, but I had just had a long day exploring Yosemite, so at that point I was tired and really appreciated the quiet check in. The room had the standards you'd find in any hotel room - bed, bathroom, tv, heat and A/C. I honestly don't remember if it had a mini fridge... I think it did, but could be mistaken. It had wifi as well, but the connection was unreliable. It was slow and disconnected often. What I really enjoyed was the patio. After eating dinner down the street, I came back to the hotel and spent an hour or so sitting out there with a drink and my laptop. It was very peaceful.

Very convenient if you are road tripping to Yosemite national park. The room was nice, good size and the bed was comfortable. Everything was good and the price amazing. You can arrive late at night with no problem. And leave as early as you need. Right next to it there is a really cool cafe where all the cool people goes have breakfast. Didn't try it, because it was too cool for me, but looked like people really liked it.

This is a very cute little motel right in the downtown area of Mariposa. You can walk the whole town from the motel. Unfortunately, the coffee shop on site wasn't open when we stayed. But the place felt very safe and peaceful. It was a little confusing to find room #9 door at night, and the hot water was intermittent in the shower. But it was spacious and AC worked well. 2 beds to choose from, and they were soft. Some spiderwebs, so I can't give it 5 stars for cleanliness, but it's a very nice place, and I'd stay there again.

This small hotel with just 8-9 rooms is a hidden gem. It’s a very quiet and peaceful place, with parking conveniently located right near the rooms. There are also a few outdoor tables where you can enjoy dinner or drinks in the fresh air. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of the city, so you can easily explore the main streets on foot. One of the highlights is the amazing café next to the hotel, which offers a 20% discount for guests. We had breakfast there and even picked up some lunch to take along for our Yosemite trip. The room itself was cozy and small but had an authentic charm. While the furnishings weren’t new, it was clean and equipped with everything we needed. It’s perfect for a one- or two-night stay. This hotel is ideal for travelers who appreciate character and adventure over modern amenities. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it!

My stay was pleasant. An interesting historic building with a nice outdoor seating area with a coffee shop (the breakfast Sammie was delicious). Conveniently located smack dab downtown. But off the beaten path. Everything within walking distance.
